We held a meeting today at the Petrus Hub discussing how the plans for the Greater Manchester Devolution strategy will impact on services and service users in Rochdale.
Kate Jones from helthwatch Rochdale facilitated the event and a great turn out gave their views on the Devolution Manchester process and service users asked some searching questions.
Kate will feedback the findings from the session into the locality plan and hopefully we can have a say in shaping the services providing support in the Rochdale area.
The first of our training sessions took place yesterday on the 3rd March 2016. A mixed group of service users and students met up at Craig lee and completed the minute taking and Petrus structure training. The feedback was really positive from those people who attended. The training is designed to give service users more knowledge and information about what goes on at Petrus and how we are looking to give service users a greater voice within the organisation. Please contact Chris or Liz to find out more about upcoming training on offer and how you can get involved.
